Hey, my name is Kent C. Dodds, and I want to teach you how to meet your users where they are. And where they are increasingly is in AI applications like Chat GPT and Cloud Desktop. And maybe some of you are building for developers, and so some of your users are in Cursor or Windsurf or VS Code, and your users are increasingly using AI to solve their problems in those applications. And where is your app?

Is it in those apps? No, not yet, but After this workshop, it will be because all of those applications have or are adding support for model context protocol. This is basically your ability to get your application into those AI-based applications so that users can interact with your app inside of chat GPT etc. It's very exciting and I really want you to meet your users where they are. So I'm going to teach you about the model context protocol from a high level architecturally, but most of the time in this workshop is going to be spent with hands on the keyboard, really understanding how to build your MCP server, whatever it is.

So we're going to talk about building local servers, and that's actually really common right now. Most people are building local servers, but I'm more excited about showing you how to build remote servers, because that's where a lot of the power comes for regular users who aren't gonna be just running this stuff on their own machine. So I'm very excited to teach you about all of this in my typical hands-on workshop experience with the Epic Workshop app. It's going to be phenomenal and I know that you're going to enjoy it. So join me May 8th from 8.30 to 2.30 Pacific time.

It's going to be great. See you there
