Letting AI Interface with Your App with MCPs

Live Zoom session — Wed, Apr 16 @ 9:30am MT

We are entering a new era of user interaction. It's being built right before our very eyes and changing rapidly. As crazy as it sounds, soon each one of us will get our own Jarvis capable of performing actually useful tasks for us with a completely different user interaction mechanism than we're used to.

But someone's gotta give Jarvis the tools to perform these tasks, and that's where we come in.

In this talk, Kent will live code an MCP server and use it with an AI assistant to help us catch the vision of what this future could look like and our role in it.

After the talk, Kent will open it up for questions. A recording will not be made available after, so you'll want to be there in the zoom call for this! See you soon!

Hey everybody, this is Kent C. Dodds. I'm in Greece right now and I just couldn't wait to record this to get you all excited for my talk that I'm going to be giving next week. That's Wednesday the 16th of April. We're going to be talking about the new AI app store.

There's not really an AI app store, but this is a new way that we're going to be interacting with all of our services and everything that we're exposing to the world. So the websites and the apps that we build, we're gonna interact with those in a different way. And I'm excited to show you what that looks like in my talk. You're welcome to come. We're going to do some Q&A.

It's going to be awesome. You want to be there because it's not going to be recorded or anything. So you won't be able to watch a recording later. You got to be there. I'm excited to see you there.

    See you soon.
